New Website

Aurora CAD/CAM has a new and improved website! As part of our efforts to be your 100% American made tool builder, we decided to go forward with our plans to build a website better suited to the needs of current and potential customers. With that goal in mind, Aurora CAD/CAM now has a detailed Mold Making page. The new site also has incorporated more information about the company’s capabilities with a CAD/CAM Technology page and a Machining Technology page.  We are proud of our new site and hope you enjoy your visit.

Market Diversification

Aurora CAD/CAM recently completed the Market Diversification program offered by the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC). As a mold making and and precision machining company that wanted to grow its business we decided to look outside of our core client base for growth opportunities.

The training that we received from the MMTC provided us with the tools we needed to understand which industries had the best opportunities in mold making and precision machining that fit our capabilities.  After identifying our target markets, we began using the techniques learned through the Market Diversification training to find contacts and generate leads. Our strategy includes using e-mail marketing, Google pay-per-click, developing a new website and much more.

As a result of our training in Market Diversification, Aurora CAD/CAM expects to provide better service to existing customers as well as form new, lasting relationships in our target markets. Aurora CAD/CAM is a Michigan Manufacturer that has survived the worst economic recession in a generation and is preparing itself to grow profitability in the future.
