About Aurora CAD/CAM

Founded in 1984 in the small town of Metamora, Michigan, Aurora CAD/CAM has been a leader in mold making, injection mold design, precision CNC machining and EDM machining for the last 25 years. Our expert mold makers and machinists average 20 years of experience in the industry, allowing us to utilize complex processes and machine difficult materials more efficiently to save our customers’ time and money.

At Aurora, we are always looking for ways to improve the processes, capabilities and services we offer. In 2008, we invested over $250,000 in new machinery and equipment on this continuous quest for improvement. In 2009 we will invest another $160,000 in new machinery. Our constant investments also help us diversify our expertise into markets, including the aerospace, military and agricultural industries.

We’re also very involved within the community. Aurora CAD/CAM contributes to growth of manufacturing industry within Michigan by advocating co-op programs and apprenticeships. We do this because we don’t think of ourselves as “just another mold shop.” We see ourselves as a key component that helps keep Michigan manufacturing strong.
